Intervention Helpline is a non-profit organization based in Anchorage, whose mission is to provide hope, help, and solutions for recovery to individuals, families, and communities affected by addiction. We work diligently to find a solution for every person who calls us—whether they are looking for a place to detox, receive treatment, a safe place to stay, words of encouragement, or calling about a family member they are desperate to save and want to know what they should do. We are the only agency in Anchorage offering these services to those who have no resources. Intervention Helpline is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization founded in 1986 by Father Robert A. Young. A brief glimpse at some of Intervention Helpline’s accomplishments in the last three years:

Assessed/Assisted/Directed over 1,602 callers to treatment options for themselves or family members—assistance not requiring a full intervention.

Provided assistance, guidance, or referrals for over 2,796 phone calls from the community.

Facilitated 208 interventions, assisting individuals into treatment and helping families through the healing process.
